Day 54

Today I have a new neice! Her name is Nicolette Dale. I am so excited for my sister and her family. Not being able to be there with her is a bit frustrating, but I am there in thoughts and prayers. I spoke to my parents today and they seemed so happy to have another grandchild. It is amazing to see how quickly your immediate family can grow. I remember when it was just my parents and the four kids running through the airport to catch the plane for holiday. We would inevitably leave too late and Dad would get stressed so he would run in front of us with only his briefcase to make sure the plane did not leave while the rest of us carried all the bags and ran behind. This was obviously before heightened security made getting through the airport quickly impossible. I am happy for my sister to begin, well actually continue to make her own family memories.
My own family consists of the seven expats and a dog named Teddy. For the past few days I have taken on the task of walking the dog around the neighborhood. I am not really sure why I do this, but it gets me out of the house after work and it is a nice way to relax, especially since the dog is old and walks slower than any dog I have ever had. These photos are of the dog, and me writing at the computer.

Hey Girl,
Just got back from Mexico and I thought that was bad!!! But from your Blog that was Paradise. Keep up the good work and I really enjoy your humor--I can see your beautiful face thru your words and it brings a smile to my face! We'll miss you at the beach but we'll keep a seat open in your honor!!! OR if we see any flies, we'll all think of you! Love Ya Nickie--the golfing czar!

Hello Nancy,

Very interesting reading for sure. Sounds like quite the trip thus far, and that you are making a difference over there. I let a few other people know about what you are up to so they can follow along too. Let me know if you need anything from the USA.
