Day 215

So, posting the photos last time did not really work. I will try again today.
I was at the office early this morning and received a strange phone call. This man was asking me who we were and what type of organization MSF was. I found all this odd, but have received calls like this before, just not usually at 7.45 in the morning. Then he goes on to tell me that his wife dreamt of the number and he decided to call. He wanted to meet the staff.....I told him we usually do not accept visitors. Then the clencher hit. He is a member of some church on 5th and Mugabe road and if I was interested he would love to meet me and I should feel free to bring the other members of my staff.
I guess this is a new recruitment tool for churchs.

The rest of my day I was giving a lesson to peer educators about HIV, its transmission, signs and symptoms of HIV and ARVs. About half-way through the lecture I realized I kept saying that I was the virus and this is how I am attacking your army (immune system). It was at this point that I realized, maybe I should not be calling the only blonde(ish) white girl in the room the virus.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Independance Day!

Hey Nancy!
I just wanted to say hello. I haven't been checking in for a few months and boy have you been busy! I have been talking about you quite a bit lately to my students and thought it would be nice for you to know I was saying nice things about you.....
